FAQ

The following goes in the glass container:
No-deposit bottles and jars, clean without food residue, no lids, sorted by color.

The following DOES NOT go in the glass container:
China, clay items, lids, windows/window glass, light bulbs

Deposit times:
Weekdays: 0700 - 1230 hrs and 1500 - 2000 hrs

The following goes in the paper container:
Newspapers, magazines, cartons, packaging and wrapping paper (no foil!), books, envelopes, packaging paper or cartons from food items with or without the "green dot" without residue!!!

The following DOES NOT go in the paper container:
Plastic or metal-coated paper, milk and juice cartons, all types of plastic materials or glass.
No Bio Barrel is necessary for people who do their own composting.

Trash pick-up will alternate weekly between:

Paper barrels are picked up once a month together with the bio barrel.

Note to Businesses:
Packaging material made of cardboard must be returned to the manufacturer IAW Chapter 4 of the Packaging Ordinance.

Environmental/Hazmat Vehicle:
Once a month at designated stops in each village. Location and times: ref. "Mülltips" brochure. Pickup of hazardous material, e.g. paint, plant and wood treatment materials, solvents, acids, thinners and other hazardous waste, chemicals, etc.

Odd sized Trash (Sperrmüll):
Removal twice a year. Location and times: ref. "Mülltips" brochure.
