Ramstein-Miesenbach as a Business Community

The City is presently developing a new commercial area, the Business Park "Am Wasserturm", which consists of approx. 8 hectares of land, five of which are owned by the City. In the recently developed "Industriezentrum Westrich" there are currently 65 hectares still available for commercial use.

The greater Western Palatinate area consists of approx. 550,000 people, among them an above-average number of highly skilled workers and technical university graduates. The universities of Kaiserslautern (approx. 15 km) and Saarbruecken (approx. 50 km) are accessible within minutes due to Ramstein-Miesenbach's convenient location on the A-6 highway.

According to current guidelines for improving the economic structure (GA-promotion) subsidies of up to 18% may be granted. Depending on the type and special needs of the business, additional financial assistance may be available.
