With the Kultur- und Tagungs-
zentrum "Haus des Bürgers", Ramstein-Miesenbach has a centrally located, multi-functional, state-of-the-art culture and conference center, renowned throughout the region. Since its completion in 1986 the facility has presented a variety of cultural performances with high standards. Every year a multitude of national and international stars and orchestras as well as regional artists perform in Ramstein-Miesenbach in addition to theater and musical performances for children. The facility includes a seating capacity for up to 800, state-of-the-art media technology and a flexible interior layout which accommodates conferences and meetings of all sizes.

The "Haus des Bürgers" has a restaurant, a bowling alley, meeting facilities for senior citizens and young people, classrooms for the community's adult education center and a shopping area. It also houses the City Library with its approx. 12,000 books, newspapers, magazines as well as a large collection of sound and video cassettes. People who want to further their education, the Ramstein-Miesenbach branch of the County's Adult Education Center offers a wide variety of subjects. More than 150 private clubs, associations and organized groups host a variety of events throughout the year which greatly enhance the Community Association's social, cultural and sportive life. With two carnival organizations Ramstein-Miesenbach is considered the region's carnival center. The annual highlight is the carnival parade which is held on Shrove Tuesday. The local museum (Heimatmuseum) has a firm place in the cultural life of the community. Located in the historic city hall, the museum hosts a permanent exhibit of cultural and regional artifacts as well as special exhibits which attract many visitors.
