Ramstein-Miesenbach has lots to offer to people seeking recreation and relaxation. The "Pfälzer Wald" Nature Park is close-by and the "Westpfalz Wanderweg", an extensive network of hiking paths, passes right through the community. Hikers and bikers can enjoy a comprehensive network of local hiking and bicycle paths. A multitude of sports and recreational events hosted by private clubs organizations enable personal contacts with the local population in addition to providing excellent recreational opportunities. The villages of the Ramstein-Miesenbach Union Community maintain a total of 21 sports fields and 12 gymnasiums in addition to a multitude of indoor and outdoor tennis courts, horse riding and shooting facilities, bowling alleys, boule courts and much more. When physical activities are completed, people meet in the many pubs and cafes for social get-togethers or enjoy local and international cuisine in one of the community's many restaurants. A focal point for local and out-of-town visitors is the indoor/outdoor AZUR Water World next to the Reichswald sports stadium in Ramstein. Ramstein's House for Youngsters (Haus der Jugend) is host to a variety of programs suitable for young people; a similar facility is also located in Hütschenhausen. The "Seewoog" recreational area offers barbecue pits located on the shores of a scenic pond. The "Kurpfalz" Scout Center is host to boy scout and girl scout events from all over Germany.
